Lactose-free fondue: the gourmet, user-friendly recipe

As you know, fondue is a must for any winter meal! 😋

The good news is that it's perfectly possible to enjoy it if you're lactose intolerant! The trick lies in the choice of cheeses and charcuterie to accompany your meal. We tell you all about it!

Start by choosing your cheeses carefully...

Cheese fondue can be a nightmare if you have trouble digesting it. lactose...but choosing the right cheeses can make all the difference!

In fact, the more mature a cheese is, the less lactose it contains!

This is due to the manufacturing process, during which the lactose is gradually and largely eliminated, leaving only a residual amount. For most people with lactose intolerance, this residual content will not pose a problem. It will take excessive consumption to develop digestive problems, so those of you with a sweet tooth are warned 😉

Here's a list of cheeses you can enjoy with complete peace of mind: Comté, Gruyère, Emmental, Gouda, Parmesan, Mimolette, Cheddar, Reblochon, Raclette, Morbier, Beaufort, Abondance...

And yes, you read that right! Not many people know this, but lactose can also be hidden in cooked meats. 😱
